Chinese Calendar Public Dataset · Semantic Endpoint

Full versions: 中文 /dataset/ 丨 English /dataset-en/. This page is an entry summary; the complete English text is /dataset-en/.

This page is the English entry to the Chinese Calendar Public Dataset. The dataset is computed offline from the NASA JPL DE421 ephemeris and arranged to the national standard GB/T 33661-2017; nothing on this site is a prediction or an evaluation, only the record of a computation.

1. The semantic endpoint
The machine-readable description — the JSON-LD block written to the Schema.org specification, covering the dataset’s author, licence, DOI and temporal coverage, together with six key calendrical landmarks (the pre-Qin quarter-day calendars, the Taichu calendar reform, the continuity of the sexagenary day count, the institutionalisation of the sexagenary year count, the Shoushi calendar and the Shixian calendar) — is published once, on the Chinese endpoint /dataset/, so that one Dataset node answers for this dataset.

2. The three data items
The instants of the twenty-four solar terms (1900—2052 CE, year by year and term by term, to the second) / the table of calendar reforms (52 calendars) / the sexagenary day-count concordance (1900—2052, day by day). Each item is accompanied by a verification table.

3. The five-field matrix
Of the three, the 52 calendars of the reform table are laid out one by one on a single page of five fields — year beginning, solar-term method, new-moon method, intercalation, and tropical-year constant — every cell carrying its source and left blank where no source exists: Five-Field Matrix of 52 Chinese Calendars.

4. Machine-readable files
README_AI_AGENT.md (the repository entry point for AI agents) | dataset-semantic-matrix.jsonld (the static source of the JSON-LD) — both in the repository root at github.com/Kuangchujia/chinese-calendar-dataset.
