Reform at the founding of Song
At the founding of Song the court carried on the Later Zhou Qintian calendar and in 963 CE promulgated the Yingtian calendar, made by Wang Chuna — the first of the Northern Song.
Founding houses often follow this pattern: they keep the old calendar for a time and then make their own to mark the new order.
Afterwards
It was used twenty years, until the Qianyuan calendar replaced it in 980. Early Northern Song calendars changed rather often, a sign of active debate.
